Warm and Cosy
 
The Cottage is heated by our massive wood pellet biomas boiler, so you can be as warm as toast any time of day or night and have lashings of hot water.
 
Oversleep in the delightful bedroom with its old polished pine and king-sized canopied bed (well, it is just so quiet). Bed linen is beautifully laundered pure cotton.
 
Give your car a holiday
 
We have two electric bikes for you to wizz about on, just hire them from us. You can buy local groceries and delicious, locally made ready-meals from the Farmhouse kitchen. You can walk to the pub and we will pick you up, by prior arrangement. Your organic milk can be delivered to your door, fresh from the cow and you can collect your own eggs!

On the days when you don't want to stir, My Personal Sanctuary can come to you..... and you can luxuriate under the stars in our out-door hot tub and wood fired barrel sauna.

Folk Art Workshops

Folk Art Workshops by Sue Prince, the resident folk artist, can enable you create an original egg tempera folk art painting. You paint your own story or get together to create a group work to celebrate a wedding, christening or anniversary! This is a perfect activity for hen parties, families and groups.

Details:
 
Arrival and departure: The cottage is yours from 3pm on your arrival day until 10am on the day of departure, we shall be sad to see you go, but you can come again as soon as you want! Please discuss with us if you need other arrangements.
 
 
Hall: Tiled entrance hall with coat hooks and small storage cupboard, iron and board etc.

Bedroom: King-sized canopied bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside drawers, extra heating. Bed linen included

Sitting room and kitchen: Well equipped, limed oak, galley kitchen along one wall of snug sitting room under mural ceiling. TV, DVD and radio. Dining table by window with wonderful view. There's some organic milk, tea, coffee, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and kitchen rolls to get you started.

Bathroom:

Leading from lobby with airing cupboard, small bathroom with washbasin, WC, bath with shower and extra heating. Fresh white towels included as are toilet rolls.
 
Laundry: We offer a washing service, returning laundry within 24 hours
 
Heating: The large biomass boiler provides full central heating and hot water which are included in the cost as well as electricity.
 
Parking: You may park in the main farm yard.

Recycling: You can continue to take care of the environment even on holiday- at Beechenhill we recycle glass, cans, plastic, paper and card and we compost vegetable waste.
 
Technology: The cottage has free wifi, please ask if you'd like it turned off.
 
Bookings: From March to November, Mondays and Fridays are the change-over days. Breaks offered are three day weekends, four day week day breaks and seven day breaks. From November to March breaks are completely flexible with a minimum two night stay.
 
Cancellation:
When you book you make a legally binding contract.
 
We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance.
