Milk produced at Beechenhill is organic and unpasteurised. Produced by Terry Prince and his organic cows, (you will see them ambling past) it is specially tested and licensed for supplying to guests. Often our yoghurt is made with Beechenhill organic milk, using Yeo Valley Bio as starter.

Bacon and Sausages
Local Dry Cured Bacon and pork sausages from James Armstrong atNew Close Farm, Over Haddon, Their lovely shop is in Bakewell. Our vegetarian Sausages come from Liz at Seagraves in Leek. Liz uses local Staffordshire cheese, garden Leeks and local eggs to create our delicious veggie sausages.
Swedish Smoked Trout comes from our friends Tiraholms Fisk. Sue Prince teaches Swedish folk art in Sweden every summer and comes back laden with delicious hot smoked and cold smoked trout. Not a local food but a welcome 'guest' food!
