Guided Walk from Beechenhill Farm
You can book a special guided walk by Beechenhill's Sue Prince. These are circular walks. Please book well in advance. Beechenhill guests; from one to 14 people. To book please email firstname.lastname@example.org
- 1. The Manifold and Ilam Village, downhill there, some steep uphill back (a lift back is sometimes possible) 1.5 hours £35
- 2. Hidden Dovedale tops, nothing very steep but some narrow woodland paths, can be slippery, rocky and rooty, some stiles to climb. 1.5 hours £35
- 3. Along the Valley edge and ridge to Wetton,you can stop at the pub for lunch (a lift back is sometimes possible) There 1hr £25 There and back 2 hrs £45
National Trust Guided Walk Around Ilam
The Free Friday guided walks around Ilam are every Friday at 11:00am meet by the National Trust shop at Ilam Hall. This is until end of October.
Guided Tours of Ashbourne
Every Thursday and Saturday there are free and very popular guided tours of Ashbourne, at 11.00am from the Ashbourne Tourist Information Centre.
Walk your legs off!
You can walk in any direction from Beechenhill and find glorious views and secret places. Ilam village is settled in the heart of the National Trust's South Peak Estate, so much of the land around Beechenhill is open access.

Murder Mystery Themed Treasure Trail; 'Land of the Manifold'
We stock these Treasure Trails (£5). They are great fun for children and greater fun for adults- or so it seems! They take about two hours, and if you solve the mystery you stand a chance of winning up to £1,000.
