Have a great day in the Cottage learning a new skill and achieve a special hand-made item to keep or use as a gift.
Folk Art Workshops by Sue Prince, the resident folk artist, can enable you create an original egg tempera folk art painting. You paint your own story or get together to create a group work to celebrate a wedding, christening or anniversary! This is a perfect activity for hen parties, families and groups.
Cottage by the Pond Details
Large Bathroom: Non-slip floor, non-slip, shallow bath, rim 445mm high. Toilet seat 445mm high, left hand transfer, pull down hand rails both sides. Flat floor shower, mobile shower chair available on request. Lots of fresh towels included as are toilet rolls.
Bedroom 2: Ground floor, beds either 2 singles or 1 super-king-sized, please specify.
Bedroom 3: 1st floor, beds either 2 singles or 1 super-king-sized, please specify.
En-suite: Shower, WC and washbasin.
Kitchen: Fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, radio with iphone dock, electric hob and oven. There's some organic milk, tea, coffee, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and kitchen rolls to get you started.
Sitting/dining room: Remote control TV, DVD and radio, recliner chair and a cosy log stove.Dining table with comfortable stacking dining chairs.
Heating: Heating for the whole farm is supplied by a large wood pellet boiler, so its cosy and warm all the time. Heating and fuel is all included in the price.
Extra equipment: The following items are in the cottage: An electric profile bed, bed side guard, A self riser/recliner chair, bath board, bath seat, raised toilet seat. Available on request are: Oxford Major Hoist 190, mobile shower chair and a commode.
Recycling: You can continue to take care of the environment even on holiday- at Beechenhill we recycle glass, cans, plastic, food, paper and card and we compost uncooked vegetable waste, which helps us to grow lovely organic vegetables in our garden.
Parking:You may park directly in front of the cottage or the main farm yard. There is level access into the cottage.
Technology: The cottage has free wifi, please ask if you'd like it turned off.
Bookings: From March to November, Mondays and Fridays are the change-over days. Breaks offered are three day weekends, four day week day breaks and seven day breaks. From November to March breaks are completely flexible with a minimum two night stay.
