Peak District Artisans at the Haybarn -Derbyshire Open Arts 

10am -5pm May Bank Holiday Weekend  25th to 28th May and Sat 2nd and Sun 3rd June 2018 

The warm and beautifully restored Haybarn at Beechenhill, an organic farm nestled on the south facing hill over Ilam, hosts 16 members of Peak District Artisans.  The Artists' Cafe will be serving tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes, we look forward to seeing you!

Peak District Artisans at the Haybarn, Beechenhill Farm- Original paintings, images, prints and cards by 16 artists Sue Prince, Michela Griffith, Steve Elliot, Tim Rose, Liz Wellby, Giles Davis, Mark Langley, Cath Dunn, Adrienne Brown and Ingrid Karlsson.  

Media include photography, watercolours, oils, acrylics, egg tempera, collage and coloured pencils. Covering subjects of folk art, landscapes, architecture and people. 

 Jewellery by silversmiths Karin Sheldon and Lucy Palmer, woodturning by Roger Waterhouse, wooden boxes by Temima Crafts, ceramics by Sue Gorman and Gary Sampson. 

 PDA is a highly successful association of some of the very best professional fine artists and designer makers in the Peak District.  Members are selected for their outstanding work, many are award winning and internationally recognised for excellence in their chosen field. A delightful event in a warm, beautiful stone flagged barn, at an organic farm with tea and cakes.


The artists undertake commissions and are delighted to encourage visitors to discover their inspiration and motivations. The Artist’s Café offers a delicious range of homemade cakes, teas, coffee and soft drinks. Money raised will be donated to Wetton and Alstonefield First Responders and Friends of the Peak District.
