Beechenhill Farm is a 37 ha/92 acre organic dairy farm in the Peak District National Park. When you stay you can explore our land with our self guided farm trail. The farm is a working place so always check what's happening to avoid putting yourself at risk.
We produce organic milk here at Beechenhill Farm. We milk 35-40 lovely, organic Friesan and Swedish Red cows. We milk twice every single day of the year, even Christmas Day! Our milk goes every other day to the Organic Milk Suppliers' Coop dairy. We also sell our milk to customers who come to the farm.
We are very happy to do organised visits for Schools and Colleges covering organic agriculture, eco-tourism and sustainability covering:
- Inputs and outputs
- Geographical location
- Organic dairying
- Organic lamb production
- Farming in a National Park
- Grants and Subsidies
