How to Find Us Directions Take the A515, north from Ashbourne towards Buxton. After 1 mile turn left ('Ilam Thorpe Dovedale'). Continue 5 miles to Ilam, at T junction turn right. Continue 1 mile up steep hill (Ilam Moor Lane). When hill levels out on top, Beechenhill is first on the left down farm drive. The farm name is in the stone wall.   If you are using a Sat Nav put in 'Ilam Moor Lane'. If you use our postcode DE62BD, it stretches for about a mile, so when your Sat Nav tells you that you have reached your destination keep going for another half a mile and we are next next farm drive on the left.  Public transport is very limited so a car is fairly essential. Derby (18 miles) has the nearest main line railway station.
