Beechenhill
Organic Lamb is grown slowly. Our animals graze the herb and clover
rich meadows of our Peak District farm. The air is fresh and healthy,
the animals live peacefully wandering from field to field at will
(they don't take any notice of the drystone walls in the way!) Indeed
mothers teach their lambs the easiest ways to climb our walls, so
not only is our lamb extremely tasty, it is well exercised too!
Our sheep are neat little eaters who keep the fields tidy and allow
many of our wild flowers to thrive. We have wonderful displays of
cowslips, common orchids, harebells and many other beautiful flowers
and herbs on our lower slopes.

At
present Beechenhill Organic Lamb is a seasonal treat, mainly available
from August to November, this is because we lamb fairly late, hopefully
in good weather and as naturally as possible.
If you are coming to stay and would like to take some Beechenhill
Organic Lamb home with you please let us know when you book; to
supply you with the best possible quality we need time.
If
you wish to receive Beechenhill Organic Lamb by post, please contact: Sue Prince
